The overview of resource planning and reservations

N.B! Some of the buttons are visible only on the planner's or the administrator's desktop!

Bookings

    1. Open my own calendar - Opens your own calendar
    2. Set meeting times - In this view, you may set meeting times e.g. for students. You may set as many time slots as you like that suit you, and the students can choose among them, whichever suits them best. This is usually used for tutoring.
    3. Plan and make teaching reservations - In this view, you may reserve different resources. It is mainly used for the planning of timetables. Depending on the way timetables are created, this may be the only tool you need (especially if you plan timetables for a small group). In case you make reservations for a larger group, you had better make a crude plan in the report view first.
    4. Invoiced reservations - In this view, you can make reservations that will be invoiced.
    5. Guest room bookings - In this view, you may book guest rooms.
    6. Make other reservations - In this view, you can make reservations that are not related to any study unit or a study group, such as meeting reservations. They usually include just the room and the people invited.
    7. Report view - Despite the name, this view is meant for rough planning. In this view, you can make rough schedules for implementations i.e. divide the implementation into lectures and exercises/labs and set their durations, number of meetings and room requests. The rough plan will be used directly in the "plan and make teaching reservations" -service.
    8. Free/busy search - In this service, you search for different resources with search terms such as campus, room type, room, person.
    9. Reservation listing and mass management - This service allows you to edit and publish reservations as a mass.
    10. Outlook-synchronization - In this service, you may download the reservations into a csv file.

Group resources

    1. Set resource groups and favourites - This service allows you to make your own implementation/person/group/room/equipment lists. The lists will appear in other services, which makes them personal quick links. Usually people use this for listing the facilities of one building or a set of implementations i.e. limit long lists, which helps the use of the system.
    2. Room and equipment management - (lisää linkki) This tool is only for the administrator. It allows the administrator to manage facilities, equipment, their availability and their prices.
    3. Open my desktopIn this view, you may collect your favourite calendars and turn them into a desktop, and also save this desktop.

Cost allocation

    1. Customers - This is the view where customer information is maintained.
    2. Search orders - In this view, you may search and update the information and the products of an order. You may also print a pdf summary of the order.
    3. New order - In this view, you may create new orders, add the products in the order and print a pdf summary of the order.

Resource quick search - This view allows you to search for a specific calendar belonging to a teacher, group or a room.
