This view allows you to search and get a list of reservations and edit multiple reservations at the same time. A typical way to use this function is mass publication of reservations after which students will see the reservations (publication of timetables).

N.B! Some of the buttons are visible only on the planner's or the administrator's desktop!

Reservation search

Define the search terms and search with the green Search button.

Search reservation with either

a. quick search on the left-hand side (“My reservations” or Saved searches) or

b. new search terms that you fill out in the search fields

Mass editing

First, search for the reservations you want to edit (as instructed above).

1. Select the reservations you want to edit by ticking the box in front of the reservation row or select all reservations in the list from the tickbox above all other tickboxes.

2. Select ”Edit selected” on the blue bar.3. The selected items will list at the top of the page and you may edit the items at the bottom of the page.

You will get a list of mass items, and at this stage, you may still change their information. 

On the same page, under the list, you will see the edit view for the reservation data you may change.

Make the necessary changes and remember that you will change ALL the reservations, which are chosen above.

    1. Append will add new data to the reservation i.e. the previous values will stay on the reservation and new values will be added to the group.
    2. Replace will replace all previous values with a new value.

4. When you add a tick in the Action column, you may edit the information.

5. Accept the changes with the Submit changes button.

6. A green bar that informs about the addition of new information appears at the top of the page and you will see the changed information in the reservation.

 

 

Case: Changing status of multiple reservations

  1. Search for reservations.
  2. Select the reservations you want to edit.
  3. Select Do to selected and under it set the status you want.

Making changes in the table view

  1. Search for reservations.
  2. Select the reservations you want to edit.
  3. Select Edit in the table view from the blue bar and a new tab opens in the browser.
  4. Make the changes you want in the table cells. The information will be saved automatically.

Case: ready-made list of my own unpublished reservations

Following this example helps you to make a ready-made list of your own unpublished, but saved reservations.

  1. Go to Resource planning and reservations in Peppi -> Reservation listing and mass management.
  2. Set search terms.
  3. Take off the tick from Status -> Approved (we want to find only unpublished reservations)
  4. Set the End date far ahead in the future e.g. January 1, 2100.
  5. Leave the Start date empty. The search functions sets the date to current automatically.
  6. Write your own name to Persons field.
  7. Select Search and you will get search results accordingly.
  8. Select Save search and give the search a name e.g. ”My unpublished reservations” and select OK.

Once you have done this, the saved search will always show on the left-hand side of the Resource planning and reservations tool and you may use it repeatedly with just one click.
