  1. Employee enters The superior makes a work contract with the supervisoremployee.
  2. President gives signed contract to Personnel Administration department.
  3. Personal Secretary enters the new employee's information in the HR system and Winha.
  4. Personal Secretary prints new user account, checks users identity, and disposes account paper to user.
  5. User activates the account following the instructions on the account paper.

User account is locked

If you are a Metropolia staff member and your account is locked before the expiry of your employment contract, contact the personnel secretary.

Forgot your password?

  • You can get a new password only by visiting personally a Helpdeskservice point or the personnel secretary. 
  • The password can be printed and send to janitor of your department. In these cases, do service request and remember to tell from what department you want to get your new password. 
  • Be ready to prove you identity by some official document.
  • If nessesary, in some cases, we can send password by post as registered letter.

We cannot send passwords by e-mail or SMS!

  1. Personnel management approves the contract and the information is transferred to the HR system
  2. The system exports the user data automatically into the account management service "Amme" and creates a user account.
  3. The superior informs the employee about the date when the user account can be activated as explained in How to Activate User ID.
  4. The employee activates the new user account.


If the employee does not have a Finnish net banking account or a mobile certificate, he a she can request an account slip from Human Resources Services. Identity will be checked when the account slip is picked up.

The activation password is valid for 45 days.

The instructions for getting a new activation password are the same as in the case of a forgotten password.
