Eduroam Windows 10
Warning
These instructions do not apply to computers that are administered by Metropolia. These instructions help to connect private computers to eduroam network.
1. Browse to https://cat.eduroam.org
2. Click on Click here to download your eduroam installer:
3. Select Metropolia from the list:
4. Click on Download your eduroam installer MS Windows 10, 11:
5. Click on Save file to save the installer file on your laptop:
6. Go to the browser's Downloads list (CTRL+J).
7. Double-click on the eduroam-W10-Metropolia.exe file to run it.
8. Click on Next:
9. Click on OK:
10. Enter your username in the short form username@metropolia.fi and your password twice:
11. Answer Yes if the program opens the security warning window:
12. Click on Finish:
13. You can now choose eduroam network from Windows' network settings to use the eduroam on all campuses:
Did you encounter a problem?
- Restart your computer and the device where the issue is occurring. Try the function again.
- If the function you are attempting is happening in a web browser, try the function again in an incognito or private window and in a different browser.
- Try searching for a solution on the site of the IT Services by using the following search methods:
- navigation menu of the site (on the left)
- search machine of the wiki (right upper corner)
- a general search engine, for instance Google Search
- alphabetical index
- FAQ
