Update brings the following changes:
When creating a new workspace announcement, the option to send it to other workspaces and as email to their members is now available.
Workspace name is displayed in the email subject, when the recipient is a member of the workspace.
The email includes the link of the announcement published in the workspace, when the recipient is a member of the workspace.
Text in the pages and announcements does not contain split words anymore when a new line is inserted. A new line is now inserted between words.
Unpublished tasks do not affect the visibility of the published tasks, in the workspace task list.
Changing course implementation name in Peppi will also change the workspace name in Tube.
The course description titles conforms to expressions used in Peppi
In workspaces widening of the column "Assessment" in the "Parts of implementation" tab
Adding an existing administrator as a member in the workspace via Users and groups tab, does not remove any administrative rights.

iOS 9.0.1 is now available to download via Software Update or via iTunes.

Apple recently released iOS9 update for iPhone and iPad. The new update has caused serious problems both to applications and operating system´s basic functions.
Metropolia´s IT Services strongly discourages owners from updating their device to iOS 9, since there is a big risk that the device might not function anymore.
IT Services are not able to provide any help if such a problem occurs, because the problem lies in the operating system itself.
We expect Apple to fix the problematic update soon and start rolling a working update to the public.
IT Services will announce at a later date when iPhone and iPad owners can safely update their devices.
Peppi system will be upgraded to version 1.3.0.2 The upgrade will be released on 15. of September at 3. pm. During the upgrade (3pm - 4pm) there might be some interruptions in the system. The upgrade includes various bug fixes and improvements reported suggested by the users.

Metropolia students and staff members may use the blog platform Blogger and the video sharing service Youtube with their Metropolia accounts from this day on.
Blogger and Youtube belong to Google Apps for Education which was introduced in Metropolia in the beginning of this year.
You may also use another optional cloud service, ie. Microsoft Office 365 Education.
There will be short outages in IT services on Tuesday, September 17 from 4pm to 22pm due to security updates.

Wednesday, 02.09.2015 morning took place in Moodle unexpected operational interruptions.
The problem necessitated the Moodle restore backups .
As a result, all the edits made to Moodle during the Wednesday 02.09.2015 have been lost.
Moodle users have to redo all the edits that has been made in Moodle on 02.09.2015.
Administration apologizes for the inconvenience
Due to the problems Moodle (http://moodle.metropolia.fi) will be unavailable on Wednesday 2.9.
Moodle service break on Wednesday 2.9. and it will last about two hours.
