How do I proceed in case of issues with the Exam examination system?

During the exam, the instructions for students can be found in the exam room. The same instructions can also be found on the student guide page.
What should I do if I am unable to take the exam for some reason?
Possible reasons
Examples of possible situations where the exam is interrupted: a malfunction in the exam computer, disruption in the exam room, fire alarm, power outage...
- Abort the exam and leave the room.
Report the interruption to exam@metropolia.fi.
The issue will be resolved afterwards, and if needed, you will be given an opportunity to retake the exam.
What should I do if during the exam...?
The exam computer has shut down/been turned off
Restart the computer. Wait patiently as it may take some time for the computer to boot up.
The previous user has logged out of the exam computer

Logging in to the exam computer is not possible
- First, open the Mozilla Firefox Browser from the desktop of the exam computer.
- Wait patiently for the browser and Metropolia Single Sign-On window to open.
- Log in with your Metropolia username (not email address) and password.
The Exam testing program will open, and the exam will start at the scheduled start time.
What is the address of the Exam testing system and how do you log in?
- Open https://exam.metropolia.fi.

What should I do if I can't reserve an exam time in the Exam system?
