How do I use the E-lomake service?
Instructions and guidance
Try to find a solution on the E-lomake (especially in the Frequently Asked Questions section). Please note that the Helpdesk does not provide user support for the E-lomake usage.
Students are primarily guided and advised by the teacher of the related course or the supervisor of their thesis regarding the usage of the E-lomake.
Staff members can seek peer support for using the E-form through the Teams application in the Digiklinikka 11_Lisätietoa lomaketyökaluista (Additional information about form tools) channel.
In case of errors or issues with the E-lomake, everyone should contact the Helpdesk for assistance.
Questions regarding the permissions of the E-lomake
Why can't I find individuals in the sections related to the permissions of my form?
- A user is created in the E-lomake system upon their first login.
- When granting permissions on forms, users are "picked" and assigned to different levels of access fields.
- If the user you are trying to find has never logged in to http://elomake.metropolia.fi, they will not be found. In that case, please ask the person to log in to the E-lomake system.
How can I edit a form created by another person?
If you need access to a form created by someone else, you should request the form creator or administrator to grant you the permissions. If the administrator is unknown or no longer a Metropolia staff member, you can ask your supervisor to submit a service request on your behalf, requesting access rights to the specific form (including the form ID or URL in the service request).

Please include the E-lomake ID or URL in the service request, as well as information about the individuals affected by the issue.
- Restart your computer and the device where the issue is occurring. Try the function again.
- If the function you are attempting is happening in a web browser, try the function again in an incognito or private window and in a different browser.
- Try searching for a solution on the site of the IT Services by using the following search methods:
- navigation menu of the site (on the left)
- search machine of the wiki (right upper corner)
- a general search engine, for instance Google Search
- alphabetical index
- FAQ
If the problem is not resolved, please contact the helpdesk according to best practices. Always include a full screen screenshot of the issue in your service request.
