Top-up cards in general
In the PaperCut system value or balance is associated with your user ID. Note: Metropolia balance and HSL card balance are two different things.
Note: If you you have purchaced a copy card from Metropolia library, remember to return the card to the library at the end of your studies.
Adding value
You can buy credit online using a Finnish netbank ID. Instructions here. If you do not have a netbank ID, you can buy top-up cards from Metropolia libraries (except Aralis common library).

Returning Value / Selling Value
You must take care of you balance at the end of your studies. We recommend that you sell the remaining value to other students.
Problems with payments
If one comes across with a problem concerning PaperCut payments, it is recommended that the browser cache is cleared first. Instructions on how to clear cache can be found here.
if clearing browser cache does not help, one should create a ticket of the incident at here.
Credit transfer (selling)
Metropolia does not refund unused credit if the balance is less than 10€. If the balance is higher than that, the unused credit can be refunded. In that case a 3€ handling fee will be deducted from the balance.
