  1. Try logging in to the laptop using both your old and new passwords. If you can't log in with either password:
    1. Go to https://password.metropolia.fi and change your password again.
    2. Connect your laptop to a docking station on campus if possible.
    3. Wait a few minutes.
    4. Try logging in to the laptop with the new password.
    5. If you still can't log in to your laptop, try logging in to another Metropolia computer, such as a desktop computer at the campus workstation.
    6. Submit a service request to the helpdesk. In your request, mention whether you were able to log in to another Metropolia computer with your new password.

    1. Ensure that the network connection is working if you are on campus.
    2. If you are off-campus, establish a VPN connection using the StaffManaged profile.
  3. Manually update the login credentials on your computer.

    2. Press and hold the shift key while right-clicking on an application icon, such as Google Chrome, on the desktop.
    3. Select Run as different user.


    4. Log in to the window that opens with your short Metropolia username (not your email address) and your new password.




    5. Restart the computer.
