Warning
titleApplies to students

This response is specific to Metropolia students, not staff members.

Note
titleStudy rights

The issue may be due to the expiration of your study rights. Your thesis needs to be submitted to Theseus before the end of your studies or graduation. No exceptions can be made to this, and it is not technically possible to allow submissions after the designated timeframe.

After the completion of your studies, your user account will remain active for basic services, such as accessing your email and home directory, for an additional two weeks. This period is intended for you to backup your own data before the final closure of your user account.

However, many study-related services cease to function immediately after the completion of your studies. For instance, Theseus, which is an external service provided by Metropolia, will not recognize you as a student if your study rights have expired, and it is therefore not possible to submit your thesis there anymore.

If your study rights have expired and your thesis supervisor or study advisor requires additional information regarding this matter, they can contact the helpdesk through a service request.
