In other words, depending on the application, a window like the one below will open under Printer Properties or Preferencies:
In Paper Source, select Bypas Tray and in Paper Type, select the desired material - e.g. Transparency as in the picture.

Select 2-sided Printing and the desired direction , belowunderneath it. In the picture book bind below book binding is selected.
