IT Services unit is in charge of acquiring, operating, maintaining and developing of information technology hardware, systems and applications in Metropolia.
IT Services unit supports strategic and operational management of the university and takes part in the development of core processes of the university in collaboration with owners of these processes, by acquiring and developing IT systems which support these core processes.
Our business goals are - ICT environment is high-quality, stable and from usability best university of applied sciences in 2012.
- information management is an integral part of the Metropolia's strategic and operational leadership and will get lines from Metropolia Management
- information and communication technology will support and confirm Metropolia's core processes, especially in teaching and learning processes, and Metropolia´s fields in studies cooperation in teaching, learning and in research and development work
- activity is overall economic, so that it allows to get good (measured) customer satisfaction but is also cost effective (hardware, license and maintenance costs)
- sustainable in comparison with national universities, skilled, multilingual and learning staff, which is part of its activities can cooperate with domestic and foreign universities, businesses and communities.
