Out of office message in OWA
You can create an Out of Office message in OWA or Outlook client .
To create an Out of Office message rule, sign in first on mail.metropolia.fi.
After signing in, click on Options at the upper right corner of the window and select See All Options...
The Account window opens with shortcuts to other tasks on the right. Select Tell people you're on vacation

Now you can type in your out of office message.
You can decide whether automatic replies are sent untill you turn off the rule. Alternatively, you can set the time period that the automatic replies are sent. If you do not check the box in item 1. the replies are sent untill you turn off the rule by checking Don't send automatic replies.
Notice that if you want senders outside of Metropolia to know about your absence, check the box in item 2 and select whether the message is sent to all senders or just to those on your contact list.
Remember to save settings by clicking Save.
