Accessing Metropolia-secure with Android Device
Step 1: Selecting a WLAN network
- Find a menu called Internet or WiFi in your phone's settings.
- Select Metropolia-secure.
Step 2: Selecting the CA-certificate
- Open the CA-certificate menu.
- Select the metropolia-secure option.
Step 3: Signing in
- Enter the domain name in the text box: ise1.metropolia.fi.
- In the identity field, type: Username@metropolia.fi.
- In the Password field, type: the password for your Metropolia account.
- In the Privacy field, select Use randomized MAC.
- Press the Connect button.
If the connection to the metropolia-secure network fails
- press and hold metropolia-secure and select Forget.
2. Then select metropolia-secure again and follow the on-screen instructions.
What should I do in case of a problem?
- Restart your computer and the device where the issue is occurring. Try the function again.
- If the function you are attempting is happening in a web browser, try the function again in an incognito or private window and in a different browser.
- Try searching for a solution on the site of the IT Services by using the following search methods:
- navigation menu of the site (on the left)
- search machine of the wiki (right upper corner)
- a general search engine, for instance Google Search
- alphabetical index
- FAQ
