Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace for Education cloud services have been unavailable for a significant number of new students.

Microsoft Office 365 is once again available for new students, but Google Workspace for Education is not.

The issue is currently being addressed. It is estimated that Google Workspace for Education will be accessible in approximately 1-2 weeks. Unfortunately, a more precise estimate cannot be provided.

We will inform you when Google Workspace for Education is available again.

Summer Opening Hours for Helpdesk Phone Service (phone: 09 7424 6777) will end, and the extended opening hours for the beginning of the autumn semester will begin on Monday, August 21, 2023.

  • August 21, 2023 - September 15, 2023: Open Mon-Thu 8 AM - 6 PM and Fri 8 AM - 4 PM.
  • Starting Monday, September 18, 2023, we will return to our regular opening hours: Open Mon-Fri 8 AM - 4 PM.

  • You can discuss and give feedback about the IT Services (discussion section). (We don't accept service requests to the workspace – please contact the Helpdesk only via the contact information mentioned below.)

How to join?

1. Select Workspaces in the menu at the top of OMA

2. Select Search (Join/Leave).

3. In the Text search field, type Helpdesk tiedottaa.

4. Select the Join workspace button on the right side of the "Helpdesk tiedottaa" workspace.
