The September issue of the Information Management in Metropolia e-zine is out, focusing on the latest news on the information systems and online services used in Metropolia.
The bulletin is in Finnish but quick highlights in English are provided.

Metropolia IT Services will be under maintenance on Tuesday September 12, 2017 from 4:00 pm to midnight. This will cause disturbances in services especially in finance and personnel services, email, Skype for Business, network drives (common and Z drive of own), Instructions´ and projects´ web services including users, vhost, project servers and www.metropolia.fi.
Moodle is updated beginning at 10:00 pm.
OMA system is working normally.
Cloud services of Google and Microsoft are used in Metropolia, together with other software. The browser-based applications may be used for example for
- co-writing
- publishing (WWW, blog, video)
- information management (digital notebooks, surveys)
- file sharing
