The November 2016 issue of Information Management in Metropolia e-zine is out.

Information Management in Metropolia is launched four times a year and it's published by the team of Information Management and System Services of the Metropolia IT Services. The bulletin is in Finnish, but highlights in English are provided.

The Metropolia Network Storage System will go under Maintenance on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 4pm.

The maintence is hoped to fix the problem that has caused several outages in the network drive service in the fall.

The maintenance causes an approx. 5 min interruption in the use of network drives (Z, U, W, T, S) and Tuubi document storage, beginning at 4pm.

Distribution of OS and other security and feature updates will be endorsed by implementing F-Secure Software Updater.

Known issues that will be fixed in few months

  • Exchange studies are not shown correctly in OMA.
  • There are 45 students from 16000 that have issues with their accomplishments. They are notified individually by e-mail what to do.
