Following networks will be phased out during autumn of 2014:

A number of problems will be rectified. The list of these is to be found in a separate announcement tonight.
Metropolia information systems will be under maintenance during weekend August 23-24, 2014. This will cause service breaks on several Metropolia ICT services as listed in the table below. The most important study related services will be updated during Sunday morning.

If Firefox don´t load workspaces, so you have delete browser cache and history and restart browser.
After the update, Tuubi workspaces do not load and documents cannot be added. In some workspaces some documents are not visible.
The administrators are currently working on a fix. The work will take approximately one hour. All workspaces and all documents in them are safe and will be available after the fix.
The Tube is down due to maintenance on Thursday the 14th between 5 pm to 8 pm.
The Tube platform Liferay will be updated to a new version.
Theres a short break from noon to fifteen past when all announcements or contents are retrieved to be migrated to the new version. Hence anything published from noon on will not be available on the updated version.
Workspaces are available and can be edited until the maintenance break at 5 pm.
The appearance of Tube is lighter and with the update the front page will be responsive to variable sized devices. Smartphone and tablet users will benefit from this.
A summary of the changes will be announced with the new version.

American firm Hold Security has acquired a collection of 1.2 billion stolen user name and password combinations. This confidential material is gathered from over 400,000 web services.
According to their information, a Russian hacker group named CyberVor is responsible.
There is currently no information on whether Finnish user names are among the stolen data. National Cyber Security Centre of Finland recommends using different passwords for each web service. Using the same password in many web services makes it easier for hackers to collect information in future attacks.

Print queues have been revised to correspond to the new Multifunction printers installed recently.
Print queues remain by default double-sided.
New printer names that work on all Multifunction devices:

The jobs in the print queue can be retrieved from all Metropolia’s Multifunction devices.

A3 printouts can be retrieved only from A3-cabable Multifunction printers.
Multifunction printers’ locations:
IT Services will remove the old print queues from everyone’s workstations automatically. This does not require any intervention from the user.
