Phishing is a common experience for email users these days. Metropolia email users often receive requests for their network/email passwords, user IDs, and other private data. Some of these emails can be very convincing and appear to be from Metropolia ITS Staff.

Metropolia information systems will be maintenanced on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 4pm-22pm which will cause service outages in most Metropolia IT services (including e-mail, financial and personnel administration systems, Winha, Lync, ConnectPro, study calendar, SMART Bridgit, Conservatory Wilma and Pop & Jazz Conservatory Wilma, virtual desktop services securedesktop.metropolia.fi and desktop.metropolia.fi, VMware updates, MySQL server updates, Linux servers' updates, PHP updates, Moodle, Tuubi, and Peppi).
The maintenance break will not affect the spring joint application services (www.metropolia.fi and elomake.metropolia.fi).
