Not for Metropolia maintained computers
Instructions here apply to your own computer only, not to computers that are maintained by Metropolia. You install software on your own computer at your own risk and you yourself are in response of whether their work and of what they do you your computer. If you want software installed on a Metropolia computer, please ask Helpdesk to do the installation.
The Windows 10 Education operating system and other software are available from Azure if your degree program has an agreement with the software provider.
Metropolia students can now download the Office package (Office 365 Pro Plus) for free. They have the right to install Office on five personal devices. The software is available for Windows and OSX computers as well as iPads.
Download instructions are on the IT Management website. Before downloading the Office package, the student must accept Metropolia’s cloud service terms. Logging into the download site works approximately two hours after accepting the cloud service terms.
Office is available as long as the student is enrolled at Metropolia.
Microsoft Office products cannot be obtained through the school, but Microsoft offers discounts to students in the Microsoft Online store at http://www.microsoftstore.com/.
