In the Bulevardi auditorium V013, the data projector and its controller panel are out of order but temporary arrangements have been made for the use of the auditorium.

A slightly less powerfull spare projector is placed in the front row. Accordingly, less seats are available.

Instructions for the use of the equipment can be found in the auditorium.

The PaperCut system will be updated on June 13, 2012. The update will cause short interruptions in the use of Toshiba multifunction printers between 9 AM and 2 PM.

Helpdesk will be closed on the 4^th and 5^th of June in the following campuses:

Helpdesk telephone service is closed from 29th May to 30th May due to staff training days.

HR is not compatible with Firefox 10 and newer versions. The cause of the problem is a software component in the system.

The software provider is cognizant of the situation and a fix is underway. The fix is scheduled to be ready in the beginning of June 2012.

The fix will be installed in Metropolia HR after it has passed testing.

For the moment, we recommend using IE.

There is short maintenance break on Tube on Wednesday 23th May starting at 4 pm.

Estimated lenght of break is 15 minutes.

As the school year is coming to a close, it is a good time to for everybody to clean up their e-mail box.

Delete unnecessary and space wasting messages and their attachments, if there are such.

It is good to sort messages e.g. by size, date, sender or title as this makes deletion easier.

You must clean up separately the Inbox, the Outbox and the Drafts folder.

Deleted messages are first moved to the Deleted Items folder, where messages can still be retrieved when needed. The Deleted Items folder must be emptied separately.

A software update, iOS 5.1.1 is released for iPhone and iPad. It contains
improvements and bug fixes.

We are updating the Tube and the new version will be accessible on Friday, April 27, 8 a.m. at the latest.

There are problems with logging into Metropolia computers today April 16, 2012.

The IT Services website will undergo changes on the weekend April 20-22, 2012.

The site will be available but some errors may occur.

Home directories and common network drives work normally again after hardware update on 4th April 2012.
