File transfer using WinSCP

1. In the Host Name field, type shell.metropolia.fi
2. In the Category panel, select Tunnels (Connection->SSH->Tunnels). In the Source port field, type 8889 and in the Destination field, type xxx.metropolia.fi:22 (the name of the server that you are uploading files to).
3. Open a connection to the shell.metropolia.fi server.
4. Start WinSCP application.
5 2. Check the Advanced options box.

6 3. Select Connection -> tunnel Tunnel and check the Connect through SSH SSh tunnel box.

4 7. In the Host name field , type the name of the server you want to connect to.

5. Username: your xxxshell.metropolia.fi server username.
9 6. Password: your xxxshell.metropolia.fi server password.
10 7. Make sure that the Port number is 22.

118. Go back to Session.
12 9. In the Host name field, type the name of the server you want to connect to e.g. projects.metropolia.fi.
13 10. Username: your xxx.metropolia.fi server username.
14 11. Password: your xxx.metropolia.fi server password.
15 12. Make sure that the Port number is 22.
16 13. Click on Login and you will be connected to the xxx.metropolia.fi server.
