During the outages , Metropolia services cannot be accessed from the outside, i.e. internet (e.g. home computer). On Metropolia workstations (in the internal network) Metropoliacan't be used internet, but Metropolia's IT services can be used normally.
The reason for the outages is an improvement in the telecommunications infrastructure which aims at guaranteeing the usability of IT services by enhancing its reliability. The second phase of the improvement will be carried out in December and the the announcement will be made closer to the date.
