Outages in web services during the weekend on October 22nd - 23rd.
During During the outages, public Metropolia IT services (such as Tube, e-mail, web pages) cannot be accessed from the internet or from Metropolia workstations. outside, i.e. internet (e.g. home computer). On Metropolia workstations (in the internal network) Metropolia's IT services can be used normally on workstations connected to the internal network.
The reason for the outages is an improvement in the telecommunications infrastructure which aims at guaranteeing the usability of IT services by enhancing its reliability. The second phase of the improvement will be carried out in December and the the announcement will be made closer to the date.
