Metropolia staff members can charge their laptops in staff work spaces. Most laptops charge automatically when connected to a docking station. Unfortunately some models, such as power portables and portable with no USB-C connector, are not charged by docking stations. They must be connected with their own chargers to the work station's electric socket. This does not prevent the use of the docking station in other ways: the charger is needed only for charging the laptop.
