The multifunction printer system being available, new network printers will not be purchased. Recycled classroom printers can be used if needed.

Staff printers

Small group printers

If there is not a multifunction printer nearby printing will be directed to a middle size network printer, as a general rule. An appropriate number of users for such printers is 3-10 employees. Still, all sizeable printing jobs must be sent to a multifunction printer.

Personal printers

A personal printer is allowed for those working in full time customer service tasks. Private documents should be printed to multifunction printers.

Student printers

Printing points

Printing is centralized at separate printing points. Printing point facilities cannot be reserved and are thus always available for students.

Color printing & copying

Students must print their color printing jobs to multifunction printers. Multifunction printers in student use are located in libraries and other common areas. Printing to multifunction printers is possible from all PC classrooms.

Printing and copying requires a positive balance on a printing account. Copy cards are available in libraries. Also a HSL travel card or any other RFID card can also be used as copy card.
