Hundreds of software products are in use in Metropolia. The number of licenses for a single product may vary from one to several thousands.

Mass licenses

Major license purchases such as those of Microsoft and Adobe products are tendered in cooperation with other universities of applied sciences.

Single licenses

Since there are hundreds of software products IT Services urges technical main users to familiarize themselves with the licenses and to create as detailed purchase requests as possible, including sales offer and provider information. Each license purchase is considered separately and the purchase order may be placed either by IT Services or by the technical super user of the license.
