Camtasia (formerly Camtasia Studio) is a commercial screen recording and video editing software, published in 2002. It can be used to create lecture, instruction, and Powerpoint videos and video blogs. It can also be used to record live events and interviews. Both Windows and Mac versions are available.

Files made with Camtasia can be edited in many different ways but the tool does not support decentralized cloud-based collaboration.
