Signing Out of Remote Desktop
Remember to Sign Out of Remote Desktop
Do not close VMware Horizon Client window or the browser tab when the remote desktop is still open. Sign Out of the remote desktop first as explained below.
After you have signed out of the remote desktop, you must wait a few minutes before being able to sign in again.
Signing out of a Windows 7 remote desktop
1. In the remote desktop, click on Start menu.
2. Click on Log off. Notice that your own computer's task bar is showing as in the picture below. If it is not showing, the remote desktop is in fullscreen mode.

Problems?
Restart the computer or device on which the problem is occurring. If restarting does not help, make a service request to Helpdesk at https://hd.metropolia.fi or send email to helpdesk at metropolia.fi
Good to know
If you lose connection to the remote desktop e.g. because of a network failure, your session will continue running for some time. By signing back in to the remote desktop you can get back to the open session.
