On September 18, 2013 Apple published a new operating system version iOS 7 for its mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod).


After a device is updated to iOS 7, it cannot be downgraded back to an older iOS version.

 

iOS 7 works on the following devices:

Full features:

iPhone 5S
iPhone 5C
iPhone 5
iPad 4th gen
iPad mini
iPod touch 5th gen

 

Works but with limited features:

iPhone 4S, without these: Filters in Camera app, AirDrop
iPhone 4, without these: Filters in Camber app, AirDrop, Panoramic photos, Siri
iPad 3th gen, without these: Filters in Camber app, AirDrop, Panoramic photos
iPad 2, without these: Filters in Camber app, AirDrop, Panoramic photos, Filters in Photos app, Square photos and videos
