If .doc and .docx files do not print or print with a delay, you can "bypass the issue" by first saving the document as a PDF.

1. In Word, select Save As.
   

2. Choose PDF (*.pdf) as the file format, and click Save.
   

3. Open the saved document with a PDF reader (e.g., Adobe Acrobat Reader) and select Print File.
   

4. From the Printer menu, choose your preferred print queue, such as the standard A4 print option.
