Saving bookmarks from Edge
- Open the Edge browser. Click the star button (1.). Click the three-dot menu button (2.) and select Export favourites (3.).

- Save the file by clicking Save. In the example image, the file is saved to the home directory in its own new folder. Save the bookmarks to a location where you can easily find them.

Importing bookmarks into Edge
- Open the Edge browser. Click the star button (1.). Click the three-dot menu button (2.) and select Import favourites (3.).

- In the Import browser data now section, click Choose what to import.

- Select Favorites or bookmarks HTML file from the dropdown menu and click Choose file.

- Find your file and click Open.

- You will receive a notification that the bookmarks have been successfully imported. Finally, click Done.
Chrome
Saving bookmarks from Chrome
- Open the Chrome browser. Open the three-dot menu (1.), go to Bookmarks (2.), and then Bookmark manager (3.).

- Open the lower three-dot menu and select Export Bookmarks.


- Save the file by clicking Save. In the example image, the file is saved to the home directory in its own new folder. Save the bookmarks to a location where you can easily find them.

Importing bookmarks into Chrome
- Open the Chrome browser. Open the three-dot menu (1.), go to Bookmarks (2.), and then Import bookmarks and settings (3.).

- Select Bookmarks HTML File from the dropdown menu (1.). Click Choose file (2.).

- Find your file and click Open.

- You will receive a notification when the bookmarks have been imported. Close the notification by clicking Done.
Firefox
Saving bookmarks from Firefox
- Open the Firefox browser. Click Bookmarks on the top bar. Select Manage Bookmarks.
If the top bar is hidden, press the ALT key on your keyboard to make it visible.

- Select Import and Backup in the new window. Select Backup.

- Save the file by clicking Save. In the example image, the file is saved in a new folder in the home directory. Save the bookmarks in a location where you can easily find them.

Importing bookmarks into Firefox
- Open the Firefox browser. Click on the top bar Bookmarks. Select Manage Bookmarks.
If the top bar is hidden, press the ALT key on your keyboard to make it visible.

- Select Import and Backup in the new window (1.). Select Restore (2.). Select Choose file (3.).

- Select the file you saved and click Open.

- Confirm the restoration by clicking OK.
