F-secure updates its policy and virus definitions automatically, but it can also be done manually.
1. Double-Right click the on thhe F-secure’s icon from the notification area.
2. When the main window opens, click on Tasks.
3. Under Central management, select Check for policy updates.

2. Select Check for Updates, this updates both the settings from policy manager server, and the virus definitions
3. F-secure window opens up, Last update check should have a recent time stamo. Close the window.
