PSP counselling includes instructions on PSP counselling tool that is used for group counselling and instructions on how to use one PSP for guidance.

Step-by-step instructions

    1. On the teacher's desktop, select Counselling -> PSP counselling

    2. Summary

      • Students tab

          • The guidance counsellor will see all the students' PSPs whose guidance counsellor he/she is.
          • The columns show the student's name, student number, group and PSP.
          • The guidance counsellor may accept the PSPs of the students who have asked the him/her to do that.
            • Check the checkbox in front of the student’s name (visible only if the student has asked for acceptance of the PSP).
            • Select Approve selected PSPs.
      • Events tab

          • The guidance counsellor will see a list of events on students’ PSPs that require his/her attention
          • He/she may accept the PSPs that have been sent for approval.
            • Check the checkbox in front of the student’s name (visible only if the student has asked for acceptance of the PSP).
            • Select Approve selected PSPs.
    3. My PSP Groups view

      • Select a group (The guidance counsellor will see all the students' PSPs whose guidance counsellor he/she is).
      • Students tab

          • The guidance counsellor will see all the students' PSPs whose guidance counsellor he/she is.
          • The columns have links on the student’s name, his/her student number, group and PSP.
          • The guidance counsellor may accept the PSPs of the students who have asked him/her to do that.
            • Check the checkbox in front of the student’s name (visible only if the student has asked for acceptance of the PSP).
            • Select Approve selected PSPs.

        • Creating a taks for one person
          • Select Create task.
          • Add the recipient.
          • Give the taks a subject.
          • Write the task description.
          • Select Send -> The chosen person receives the task.
        • Creating a task for a PSP group
          • Select Create task for a group.
          • The code of the group, under which you started to create the task, is chosen by default.
          • Give the taks a subject.
          • Write the task description.
          • Select Send -> The members of the chosen group receive the task.
      • ”Follow-up graph”

        • The guidance counsellor will see the progress of a student compared to the progress of his/her own group by using different parameters.
        • You may filter the view according to time or progress of studies.
        • The view updates every time you change the parameters.
      • Group description

        • The guidance counsellor may describe the activities, working methods and meetings of a group with this function.
        • In addition, the guidance counsellor may write down notes about the group, which are not visible to students.
        • Edit the group description
          • Select Edit.
          • Fill out the fields.
          • Select Save.
          • The information will be updated in the guidance counsellor’s view and on the PSPs of the students who belong to the group.
