Staff
- Information about a change in your first or last name should be given to the personnel assistant of your department, unit or function.
- All Metropolia records will be modified to reflect a change in your first or last name after the personnel assistant has modified the HR records accordingly. The personnel assistant must be notified also about which name is used as the nickname. The e-mail address is formed accordingly: firstname.lastname@metropolia.fi
- NOTE! After the change you must log in at http://amme.metropolia.fi and verify your final e-mail address. If another student or staff member at Metropolia ahs the same first name and last name, extra characters will be added to your e-mail address (e.g. your middle initial or ) to differentiate the addresses.
- A name change will not change your user account ID.
Students
- Information about a change in your first or last name should be given to the Student Services.
- All Metropolia records will be modified to reflect a change in your first or last name after the Student Affairs Office has modified the OMA records accordingly.
- "Name" field should indicate the name that will form the first name part of
The new e-mail system does not currently export automatically name changes to e-mail addresses. So please, make the service request in https://hd.metropolia.fi once you have done throughout the other measures.
Staff
