Students can download an "evaluation" version of LabVIEW from National Instrument's website. The license includes modules LabVIEW Student Edition, LabVIEW MathScript RT Module, and Control Design & Simulation Toolkit.

National Instruments no longer offers a free Student Edition of LabVIEW for student use. Instead, the free LabVIEW Community Edition is available. Before use, check the NI website to see for what purposes the Community Edition can be used.
