OMAn palveluja otetaan käyttöön erissä, ei siis kertarysäyksellä. Suurin osa toiminnoista on jo käytössä. Jos teet niihin muutoksen OMAssa, tiedot tallentuvat taustajärjestelmiin (Peppi, Tuubi). Käyttöliittymään on merkitty kuvina myös palveluja, jotka ovat tulossa lähiaikoina. OMA on täydellisesti valmis toukokuussa 2017.

Ei käytetä. Tuubista OMAan siirrettävät työtilat avattiin OMAssa 6.3. klo 8.00. Työtilat poistuivat Tuubista iäksi 7.3. Työtiloja käytetään vain ja ainoastaan OMAssa 6.3. jälkeen.

Ei arkistoida. Jokainen voi kuitenkin kopioida itselleen ne vanhat keskustelusäikeet, joita itse pitää arvokkaina.

Surfing between different services is ending! Tuubi, Peppi, Pakki and Base Registry (replacing Winha) will unite as one service, OMA! OMA contains the main services you need for your duties and studies.
Here are some answers to questions concerning OMA, 10th 19th of April 2017.
A. General

The services in OMA are initialized in sets, not all at once. Note that some of the functionalities are already working, so if you do changes to them in OMA, the changes are saved to the background services (Peppi, Tuubi). Some of the upcoming services are just pictures in the user interface, they are marking the place of the services. OMA will be totally ready at the end of winter 2017.

E10 E10. What happens to the current services of Tuubi?
Infopages (Students, Stuff)?
Will be transferred to the General Desktop in April on May 10, 2017.
Workspaces and documents in them?
Were transferred to OMA on March 6 2017.

Differences between the old and new workspaces.
E12 E12. Where are the new OMA Workspaces?
On the General Desktop. As per April 26, they're also available on Teacher's and Student's Desktops.
E13E13. What will happen to the old workspaces (established before January 1, 2010) of Tuubi?
The old workspaces (marked to be outdated before January 1, 2010expiration date December 31, 2009, or earlier) will be erased on May 31, 2017, unless the maintainer of the workspace marks it as "Preserve".
E14 E14. How can I mark the workspace as "Preserve"?
By hitting the "Preserve" button released in workspaces by May 30, 2017. The button will be set available in on April 26.
E15. What will be the policy concerning the outdated workspaces?

No, you can't. You have to use them in OMA. The workspaces in Tuubi were erased on March 7. After March 6, OMA is the one and only place to use the workspaces.
D. Student's desktop in OMA

E23. Where should I write general announcements (the ones used to appear on the frontpage of Tuubi)?
In Tuubi so far.
E24. What will happen to the Tuubi info pages and announcements?
They will be transferred to the General Desktop of OMA in late Aprilon May 10.
E25. Will the discussion forum of Tuubi be transferred to OMA?
No it won't. A completely new discussion forum will be launched in OMA on the General Desktop in late Aprilon May 10.
E26E26. Will the old messages of the Tuubi discussion forum archived by the organization?
No they won't. If you want to preserve the discussion thread of the past you have to copy them by yourself.
E27E27. Will the contents of the comments fields of the workspaces be erased as well?
No, they won't.
