Suurin osa sivulla luetelluista ohjelmista on niin sanottuja pilvisovelluksia. Työhön Niitä työhön tai opiskeluun niitä Metropoliassa käytettäessä on Metropolian pilvipalveluehtoja noudatettava huolellisesti.

Esimerkkejä tiedoista, joita Metropolian pilvipalveluehtojen mukaisesti ei saa tallentaa pilvisovelluksiin:

• henkilötunnukset
• henkilöön yhdistettävät suoritusten arviointitiedot
• työsopimukset tai vahvistetut palkka- ja suoritustiedot
• potilastiedot
• muut arkaluonteiset henkilötiedot (Henkilötietolaki 11 § (523/1999))
• pankkitilitiedot, pankkitunnukset ja luottokorttitiedot
• liikesalaisuudet
• laiton materiaali

Sivulta johtavat linkit sovellusten infosivuille, jotka sisältävät käyttöoppaiden lisäksi mm. tarkempia tietoja ohjelman käyttöehdoista ja tietoturvasta.
